There was an order passed by the Scottish Parliament on 22 April 2022 to give confirmation that all existing appeals are to be settled by 31 December 2023. The order also confirms that draft valuations for 2023 Revaluation are to be issued on 30 November 2022 and will be effective from 1st April 2023.
The Order:
The Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Amendment Order 2022
- provides for a draft of the valuation roll to be published on 30 November in the year preceding a revaluation;
- sets a deadline of 31 December 2023 for the disposal of appeals and complaints lodged in the period 1 January 2020 to 31 March 2022.
